Although I was placed later on in the program, I really enjoyed being a part of it! We learned about skills such as Active learning, Negotiation, Service Orientation, Coordinating with others, Professional Etiquette, Public Speaking, etc. My biggest takeaway from this entire program was learning about interviewing, in detail. Not only did we learn about what interview questions to expect but also questions we should ask the interviewer. Furthermore, we learned about the correct timing of when to ask questions and put certain information out there during an interview session. Learning about the different types of interviews, interview structures/styles, identifying and how to respond to of illegal or uncomfortable interview questions was also really helpful. This was the biggest takeaway for me because we often learn basic interview information and etiquette, however through this program I was able to learn on how to prepare myself in a confident and informed manor for an interview. Thank You!
